Well as promised I re-viewed my ideas about my ideal life in 2018 .... and as has happened before I noticed that on my own, when I'm doing this without talking to anyone about it .......... my ambitions shrink. My goals become rather ordinary and not very exciting or motivating.
With my coach its easier to be really ambitious because if I'm not ,she challenges me with questions like "And would that be enough?" or "Would that mean you'd say "Yes this is the best life for me ?" or is there anything else ?
And there usually is something else, often buried deep in my day dreams.
Day dreaming is great. Describing your ambitions is fantastic but creating the vision of the life you'd really like is easier with a coach.

I think that's the beauty of having a coach. It is great to have the big old dreams, but so easy to retain them as dreams while getting on with the hectic and challenging day to day life stuff.
So easy to forget that all it takes is consistent steps every day to get there. It's too easy to end up weeks or months down the line not having done anything.
I like the 3% rule, I read somewhere. Break your goal down into 3% chunks and complete each one in turn. Before you know it you've done 6%, 36%, 96% and 100% - well ok, one of your steps, preferably the final one, either has to be 4% or 1% - your choice. And your coach simply reminds you of this every so often (amongst other things obviously)
